REV. MATT WOOD, Pastor
Matt started in full time ministry at Abbotsford Church of the Nazarene in July of 2011 as a youth and family pastor. Prior to his start in ministry Matt lived with his family in Calgary, AB where he completed a Behavioural Science Degree at Ambrose University.
Starting in September 2018 Matt began his current ministry as Lead Pastor at AbbyNaz. Matt, his Wife and their two children live in Abbotsford. Matt enjoys singing camp songs, playing slap-shot, watching the Vancouver Canucks and publicly harassing his Uncle about his opposing choice in CFL team.
JENNIFER ST JEAN, Open Door Director
Jen has worked at The Open Door Childcare Centre for over 20 years, starting in after-school care and moving through the different programs of the centre. She currently teaches preschool and has now been serving as Director since 2011.
Jen, Keith and their two boys, Isaak and Levi, live in Abbotsford. Jen enjoys reading, playing board games, watching movies, going for walks and spending time with her family & good friends.
TERESA, Office Administrator
The latest addition to AbbyNaz, Teresa joined us in January 2018 filling the position of Office Administrator. As first point of contact, she is ready, able and willing to serve the church family/community wherever possible. Teresa was born and raised in Abbotsford and is a blessed mother of two and grandmother of eight beautiful grandkids. Spending quality time with family is her joy. Reading the Good book, mucking about in the garden, board games, golfing and going for long walks are some of
her favorite pastimes.
TANYA LEARN, Bookkeeper
Tanya has been with AbbyNaz since February 2014, her current role is as Church Bookkeeper. She lives in Abbotsford with her husband Cory and three children: Jocelyn; Jacob and Nathan.
Tanya enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, whether it may be biking, hiking, camping, fishing or hunting. She also enjoys jogging, reading, painting, arts & crafts, cooking and baking. Tanya grew up in South Africa and came to know Jesus as her Lord and Saviour at four years of age.
