This form is to register to go on the trip to Victoria to go to Proclaim at Victoria Church of the Nazarene. This permission form must be completed before leaving Abbotsford.
Details:
Cost: $40
Each person will be responsible for paying for their ferry tickets and spending $ for meals. The $40 listed above will cover the round trip tickets on the ferry but does not include a meal allowance. Spending $ for meals (2 lunches, 1 dinner) must be calculated by the individual and provided as well.
Lodging will be at the church in Victoria so the lodging is free and they will be providing breakfast for the youth on Saturday morning.

What to Bring:
Sleeping Bag, Pillow, Towel, Toiletries, Change of Clothes, Bible, Notebook & Pen, Toiletries, Daily Medications* if necessary
You will need to bring money to cover your own meals (3 meals total)

For the safety and well-being of all participants and acknowledging that students represent both their local Nazarene Church and/or Canada Pacific District, the “Code of Conduct” will be strictly adhered to.
Students are expected to:
● Understand that all bags and backpacks may be thoroughly searched at any time during the event.
● Follow all directions from Leaders courteously and respectfully.
● REPORT ON TIME to designated checkpoints as indicated by Leaders.
Lodge/Hotel Guidelines
● Absolutely no mixed genders in Lodge/hotel rooms.
● Students are responsible for checking in with their Leaders when they arrive at designated meeting places.
● All students must remain in groups of at least 2 members and must have a cell phone.
● Be in their rooms, ready for room check at curfew time.
● Abide by all curfews and rules of the Lodge/Camp/hotel. There will be other guests at the Camp. Please be considerate of others. Do not make excessive noise in the Lodge/hotel (music playing, shouting, riding the elevator, etc.).
● Appropriate swimwear (Girls: one piece/Boys: swim trunks) must be worn at swimming pools.
● Keep the buses/transport vehicles CLEAN and follow all other rules of courtesy.
● Prior to leaving Lodge/hotel rooms at the conclusion of the trip, rooms will be checked by a Leader.
● Any damages incurred by students to property (hotel/buses/venues/etc…) during our trip will be the
responsibility of the parent.
The following rules are considered as zero tolerance policies for Canada Pacific NYI participants:
● No smoking/Vaping
● No consumption of alcohol
● No use of any drugs or medications unless specifically listed on the health portion of the permission slip.
● No inappropriate physical contact
Consequences for zero tolerance rules include:
● Contacting parent/guardian
● Student being sent home early at the parent’s/guardian’s expense
